Mission and strategy

Mission statement

We are an organisation of disabled people working together to enable choice. We challenge the barriers to independent living through the delivery of high quality support and advice.

Hear Our Voice

We plan to strengthen our position as one of the UK’s largest Centres for Independent Living over the next three years, with a particular focus on:

  • Growing our vibrant WECIL Community
  • Continuing to be a strong, influential and collective voice of and for disabled people
  • Supporting each person’s right to choose and control their own assistance and / or care
  • Measuring and proving the monetary value and social contribution of our services
  • Celebrating and encouraging the contribution of young people

WECIL are thankful to Children in Need, without whom we could not run the Inclusion Project. We hope the appeal night goes well tomorrow! https://t.co/92wV3vwhl0 https://t.co/p0km5y2kOZ WECILBristol photo
