  Would you like to join us?

  We invite everyone to become a member of WECIL; both Disabled and non-disabled people, and local and national organisations.

  As a member of WECIL you will receive our quarterly newsletter, our annual report and be invited to our Annual General Meeting.   Full members are also entitled to stand for election as a Trustee at the Annual General Meeting.  
  Trustees form our Management Committee which has the overall responsibility for the management of WECIL.

  We encourage our members to play a key part in the running and development of WECIL’s services.  Members are invited to join Reference Groups for each service.  These reference groups are WECIL’s key mechanism for providing a service user perspective on the work of our services and for guiding their development.

  Membership fees

  Full membership is open to Disabled people and to organisations of Disabled people.

  The membership fees for Disabled people are:

  • waged: £4 per year
  • unwaged: £2 per year.

  For organisations of Disabled people the membership fee is £5 per year.
   

  Associate membership is open to non-disabled people.   Organisations and individuals are welcome to join WECIL as associate members. This means that they receive all the information that full members do and can participate in open meetings but they do not have any voting rights.

  The membership fees for non-disabled people are:

  • waged:  £5 per year
  • unwaged: £2.50 per year.
  • For statutory organisations: £20 per year.
  • For voluntary organisations: £10 per year.

  Cheques to be made payable to WECIL Ltd.

   

  Joining WECIL

  The membership period runs from one AGM to the next.  
  You can join at any time of the year but your membership will only run until the next AGM.
