DIAS - Disability Information and Advice Service


Aims of the service

To give Disabled people advice on any issue that will help them to make informed choices.

To assist Disabled people to use existing services and access any assistance or benefit to which they are entitled.

To inform Disabled people of both local and national services and organisations available to them.


WE CAN ASSIST BY GIVING YOU ADVICE AND INFORMATION IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

(including completion of claim forms & benefit checks)

What is the disability information and advice service (DIAS)?

A free, impartial and confidential information and advice service provided by Disabled people for Disabled people.


Who can we assist?

Anyone concerned about Disability.

People who may not recognise themselves as Disabled but who share similar difficulties to those experienced by Disabled people.

Professionals (Doctors, Social Workers, and the Media).

Organisations (statutory and voluntary).
