Membership

Becoming a member of WECIL offers a number of benefits:

Firstly members will be updated on WECIL's work via an annual report and newsletters. WECIL is often asked to send mailings out for other organisations which provide information on forthcoming events and relevant disability issues. Any such mailings are sent to our members. We also send out job vacancies both within WECIL and other organisations. Our members play a key part in information exchange and we welcome any suggestions and input that they can offer.

Information can be received in any format which can be specified on the membership form.

Full membership is open to disabled individuals and organisations of disabled people.

The membership fees for Disabled people are:

- for waged Disabled people: £4 per year.

- for unwaged Disabled people: £2 per year.

- for organisations of Disabled people: £5 per year.

We also welcome the views and input of non-disabled people and both organisations and individuals are welcome to join WECIL as associate members. This means that they receive all the information that full members do and can participate in open meetings but do not have any voting rights.

The membership fees for non-disabled people are:

- for waged non-disabled people: £5 per year.

- for non-waged non-disabled people: £2.50 per year.

- for statutory organisations: £20 per year.

- for voluntary organisations: £10 per year.

The fee can be paid either in cash or by cheque.
