1994 - 2003 Independent Living Scheme Avon (ILSA) offered support to Disabled people employing Personal Assistants (PAs). This merged with the Personal Assistant Support Scheme (PASS) in 2003 to become the current Direct Payments Support Service
1995 Housing and Relocation Project developing a register of accessible housing
1995 Employment Project providing work placement opportunities for Disabled people
1996 - 1999 Disability Arts Agency supporting Disabled people to develop disability arts
1996 South Gloucestershire Centre for Integrated Living Project establishing a base in the newly-formed local authority
1998 - 2001 New Deal for Disabled People Positive Action Partnership Scheme providing work placements and employment opportunities
1999 - 2003 Disabled Mothers Advocacy and Support
1999 - 2003 Personal Assistance Support Scheme (PASS) providing in-depth independent living support. This merged with ILSA to become the current Direct Payments Support Service

2005 Direct Payments Untangled to encourage increased take up for under represented groups
2005 Skills for Support an inclusive reasearch project investigating what people with learnning difficulties require from their personal assistants
2005 Disability Equality Forum provision of traininng and support to facilitate Disabled peoples engagement with public providers and enhance their ability to influence planning and decision making.
