  • Trustee recruitment

Help us meet the demands of the Personalisation and Big Society agendas.

The West of England Centre for Inclusive Living (WECIL Limited), based in Bristol, is a charity managed by Disabled people working to make a real difference to the lives of Disabled people and their families by delivering empowering services to build independence. Having celebrated our 15th anniversary, we now face a time of significant growth and entry into new markets.

WECIL is governed by a Board of up to 16 Trustees, 75% of whom are Disable people. We are now seeking to strengthen the board and welcome applications from both Disabled people and non-disabled people. We are particularly looking for people skilled in areas of systems, finance, fund raising and marketing.

In order to ensure our board is representative of the community we serve, we are particularly looking to recruit young people and people from black and minority ethnic groups.

We anticipate a commitment of approximately six hours per month and we are able to pay reasonable trustee expenses.

In order to be considered in time for nominations at this years Annual General Meeting (AGM) we require applications by

    Monday 16th August 2010 @ 12:00 noon.
