  • Peer Support lunch meet up

    30th April 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
The Park Centre, Daventry Rd, Knowle, Bristol BS4 1DQ

Disabled people together to share experiences, support each other and try new things.

    • Do you live in Bristol or the surrounding area, identify as a disabled person and are over 18 years old?
    • Would you like to share your experiences with others and learn from theirs?
    • Would you like to learn new skills and try out activities that you and your peers have organised?

WECIL runs monthly drop-in sessions in Bristol, South Glos and North Somerset organised by specially trained volunteers who are disabled people themselves. The group decides what they would like the session to include and then goes about making it happen! Previous activities have included: drumming workshops, 'researching your family tree', accessible sports and creative writing.

All sessions are low cost to attend.  If you need help arranging community transport please let us know.  If you’d like to find out more, come along to one of the sessions, and/or train as a volunteer, please contact the team on 0117 947 9942 or emailing peersupport@wecil.co.uk
