WECIL are launching an exciting, new 12-week employment course for anyone who identifies as disabled

WECIL (West of England Centre for Inclusive Living) are launching an exciting, new 12-week employment course for anyone who identifies as disabled or who have a long term health condition including learning difficulties, anxiety, depression or dyslexia. 

The course will take a holistic approach and will not only focus on practical and educational topics but will also cover a wide range of wellbeing topics including mindfulness & relaxation techniques as well stress management so that learners are prepared for employment. The key element is building peer support networks and relationships, learners will be encouraged to maintain those networks once the course has been completed.

  • Job Search/CV's
  • Applications
  • Working with an impairment - When and How to Disclose an Impairment
  • Reasonable Adjustments
  • Access to Work Funding
  • Travel Arrangements, Managing Nerves
  • Interview techniques
  • Telephone Interviews and Assessment Centres
  • Interview Ready - Head to Toe Presentation
  • Competency & General Interview Questions
  • Mock interviews
